Alliance Community Services

Alliance has provided thousands of financial literacy workshops, personal savings programs, homebuyer education classes, and foreclosure prevention workshops to the Charlotte community, annually providing 400 to 500 financial workshops and with more than 10,000 attendees. Many of these are hosted at many of Charlotte’s best-known and most-respected non-profit organizations, involving those receiving needed services, or other constituents, including members of the general public.

Our goals with these activities are to foster increased financial literacy generally among the members of the community and to provide personalized counseling and assistance to those seeking help from the organization referring the client to Alliance. We also accept professional referrals and self-referrals from those needing our services.

There are six programs that channel these efforts. Each program has dedicated staff and resources to help make Charlotte an even greater place to live.
