The guide is a detailed manual on step by step procedures to develop and use a Spending Plan, working with checking and savings accounts, understanding credit practices and your credit report, and getting a loan.

Growing Your Money

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) recognizes the importance of financial education. Money Smart, a training program to help adults outside the financial mainstream, was developed by the FDIC to enhance their money skills.

The Money Smart Program is a friendly and easy to use CBT (computer based training) learning tool that teaches the entire Money Smart curriculum online. It has ten modules. It can be completed over several sessions.
