Are you finding it increasingly difficult to make your mortgage payments based on your current situation? It does not mean you have give up the home you worked so hard for. There may be a number of options to choose from other than foreclosure. Alliance is HUD approved, and our certified counselors are here to help.

Mortgage Default and Delinquency Counseling

Our counseling starts with a private class, which we call Home Champions. We will meet with you in person. We will go over the options that might be available to you and collect documentation that will help us better understand your situation.

We will then work together to create a budget, set priorities and explore the right strategies to help you keep your home. We will work with your lender to obtain a solution to your mortgage issue.

Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2009

The Treasury Dept passed legislation in 2009 to assist homeowners who are in danger of loosing their homes to foreclosure. The program is known as the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP).  This may allow modification to the terms of their existing loan. 

Home Protection Program

If you are unemployed or have lost more than 50% of your income due to changing economic conditions, you may be eligible for assistance through the state of NC. They can provide mortgage payment assistance while you are looking for work or going to school to learn new job skills. Our counselors will be able to discuss this program in more detail.
